Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre
About the Project
Walking a Fine Line was a site-specific dance performance in Inglewood’s Vincent Park Amphitheater, Veterans Memorial Building, and Rogers Park Community Center during Summer 2016. Led by Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre’s teaching artists, two concurrent, six-week, site-specific dance workshops were held in Inglewood Parks. Age-based workshops for youth and seniors trained separately, then rehearsed together on an intergenerational performance.
HDDT’s free performance was presented to the Inglewood community on August 20, 2016 at Vincent Park Amphitheater alongside the company’s dancers. Funded through Inglewood Growing Artists’ Performed Projects, HDDT conducted site-specific dance workshops for interested youth and senior citizens throughout July.
