Edward Vincent Jr. Park

About the Project

Edward Vincent Jr. Park is Inglewood’s largest park. Key to City development, the 55 acre Park was established to protect Centinela Springs, water source for Rancho Aguaje de la Centinela, the Mexican land grant establishing the area.

Originally called Centinela Park, it was renamed to honor Inglewood politician and civic booster Edward Vincent, Jr. The Park’s amenities include magnificent trees, a pool complex, the Veterans’ Memorial Building, a community playhouse and an outdoor amphitheater seating 1000.

Served by regional rail, Edward Vincent Jr. Park is a cultural landmark and crown jewel of the Inglewood Parks, Recreation and Community Services department.
