Veterans Memorial Building

About the Project

Inglewood’s Veterans Memorial Building is a two story facility of exceptional grace sited on a highpoint within Edward Vincent Jr. Park. A handsome building with graceful arches and decorative stonework, the 1934 facility features a generous front porch with balustrade.

Extensive decorative flourishes from the Works Progress Administration include stained glass lunette featuring an American flag, and decorated ceiling. Inglewood’s Veterans Memorial Building is a State of California Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Now closed for remodeling, the facility features an open auditorium with raised stage, latticed ceiling, large windows, and several office spaces.
